Would you like to take a deep dive into Talmudic literature, while also attending to some of its applications in everyday Jewish life? Please join me for a one-hour Talmud class that will meet once a month, via zoom, on Thursdays, 12pm Pacific Time / 3pm Eastern Time.
We will be studying the second chapter of Tractate Shabbat. Each class will include a close reading of a Talmudic passage along with the study of a single halakhah (law) that emerges from the discussion.
When: Thursday February 26, 12pm Pacific / 3pm Eastern
Where: ZOOM (link provided upon RSVP)
This first session will be free of charge and I hope that you will join me! If within your means, please consider a contribution of $18 per class moving forward, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Please be in touch with me about cost or if you have any other questions. Likely date for our March session is March 19, 12-1pm Pacific.
